The Strongest Man in Russia.
Ivan Shatovkin, one of the strongest men in Russia, is a well recognized athlete within the field of power sports. In 2012 he became the winner of the prestigious Moscow Strongman Cup where he jerked a dumbbell of 120 kg twice. With an own weight of 102 kg he became the lightest athlete in the world to pull off this achievement and the seventh athlete in history of strongman.
”I was introduced to the sport already at the age of 13. I have always liked weightlifting but over the years my knees have suffered a lot. That’s why my coach convinced me to start training power sports and use knee supports regularly. This was in July 2009 and since then my knees don’t hurt anymore.”
